Auto Avenger: Thor
Auto Avenger: Thor
Strengths
♦ Extraordinary strength, endurance
♦ Concussion & Shock based weaponry
♦ Brief flight capabilities
♦ The Hammer can only be operated by Thor alone- cannot be interfaced or hacked by any other
♦ Electrified armor
♦ Internal self sufficient core- constantly generating massive amounts of power
Weakness:
♦ Built and operates like a Brawler, not much of a Tactician (operates best in a team)
♦ Must release excess electricity periodicity, Core becomes unstable if electricity is allowed to build

November Commissions
Commissioned to draw the Goddess of Delirium :) she was a ton of fun to draw- and I was reminded of Penelope from "Wreck it Ralph" as I worked...

Happy Halloween!! Gotham Gears WIP
I really really tried to get this done for Halloween, but I couldn't make it and at about 4am last night I realized his look was heading in the wrong direction. I need to make him lankier, change the stance, less bulky torso, there will be stich-esq designs added, and etc.
So heres my first attempt at the Scarecrow Gotham Gear, its got a lot wrong, and needs a fair amount of work before it looks like a proper Scarecorw Mech, but I thought I would share the HORROR that is my half finished work file. all the parts strewn around him have been torn from other gotham gears
Give me a couple days, I'll get my head back on straight and release the real Scarecrow Gotham Gear. Hope you cats have a happy Halloween!
cheers
C4 Weekend!!
The Winnipeg Comic con is right around the corner, and i have been busy prepping :)
I'm not sure why, but I get more excited about our little local con, than some of the mega large ones I attend, I think its because this con used to be the only one I ever went to, and I would work all year towards it.

The Joker
♦ Utterly Unpredictable
♦ Runs on a damaged energy core, he's constantly leaking radiation that causes other machines to malfunction when in close proximity
♦ Constantly making modifications/adjustments to his build, adding elements of his victims to his own soft & hardware...
(he does this impulsively, regardless of whether or not these souvenirs are an improvement)
Weakness:
♦ Utterly Unpredictable
♦ Monologues
♦ The Joker Gear wears an ancient piece of clothing supposedly worn by the Original Joker.
♦ It's theorized that the Joker gear is in actuallity, a failed attempt to make the original Batman Gear
and of course, check out the rest of the Gotham Gears lineup:
This is it for the Gotham Gears!! (for now) Hope you cats enjoyed I've got some other projects to tie up, and then we'll see about getting you a scarecrow and such...

Gotham Gears: Batman
Seeing as he's the big guy- I thought I would release him solo (Joker will be released solo as well) I figured this would be a good time to reveal the logo as well, hope ya like.
Batman
Strengths:
♦ Prototype construct of unknown origin.
♦ Genius-level intellect, appears highly skilled in Combat/stealth/hacking (full capabilities unknown)
♦Armed with a seemingly endless supply of unknown&advanced weaonry/gadgets
Weakness:
♦ Unknown.
and of course, check out the rest of the Gotham Gears lineup

Gotham Gears: Mr Freeze & The Penguin
Freeze
Strengths:
♦ Extraordinarily long lasting power source- powered by a collection of unique cold-fusions cells. (self designed+integrated)
♦ Emits a extremely cold temperature pulse - most machinery can't function properly if it comes within a close proximity
♦ Superior intelligence
Weakness:
♦ Operating system heavily relies on extremely cold conditions, Freeze can barley function once internal temperature starts approaching zero degrees.
(especially the head unit, requires an enclosed coolant filled dome at all times to ensure constant cold)
Penguin:
Strengths:
♦ Built from a extraordinarily complex arrangement of custom gears and hydraulics- Penguin runs on unknown types of software and hardware.
♦ Invulnerable to any kind of electrical interference / system hacking ect.
♦ Has a sidekick/butler/kamikaze penguin bot named Sardine
Weakness:
♦ Repairs are extremely difficult to make- every piece needs to be custom built from rare alloys
♦ He actually needs the umbrella, or he'll rust in the rain

Gotham Gears.
Gotham Gears: Catwoman & Bane
and I thought it would look cool
Bane:
Strengths:
♦Unparalleled strength
♦Near invunrability to concussion attacks (susceptible to piercing attacks)
♦Very intelligent tactician/strategist
Weakness:
♦ function relies on rare hydraulic V.E.N.-Fluid. It constantly needs to replenished
Catwoman.
Strengths:
♦Stealth (brief invisibility, but only when stationary, illusion collapses upon movement)
♦Second set of smaller hands capable of extrodinarily quick+percise actions (disarming alarms, opening safes etc)
♦Set of retractable whip/tentacle tails for quick moment/attack/long distance interaction (when the whips retract, they recoil as her tail)
Weakness:
♦delicate build- she can't take much of a hit ( but is quick enough that she rarely has to)
Next set= Freeze & Penguin

This past sunday night, I preformed a live vector painting at the Opera/republic "labor of Love" block party.
For this type of show, I set up my computer, wacom cintiq and get plugged into a hd projector. Whatever happens on my screen happens on a 25x25foot projection on the side of a building, and people watch a painting from start to finish as the night progresses.
The guy with glasses in the foreground is proud Winnipegger/dj/host of ceremonies "Ace Burpee" he was one of the hosts of the night- the background is the Winnipeg forks/cityscape
started the painting at about 745pm, ended around 1am
the awesome photos were taken by good friend: Christopher J Gibson

been wanting to do something Star Trek related for a while- the next generation was a huge part of my childhood, and a I recently re-watch the entire series, and am now on my way through the movies.
finally struck me the other day that the a borg piece would be a ton of fun- so I spent the night watching first Contact and finishing this beast off

We'll fly kites tomorrow, promise.
The bots name is "Tonk" and the girl is "Cassie" and they had planned on spending the day flying kites... :(
been wanting to tackle this piece for a long time, it was just one of those pieces that won't get out of your head until you've got it on paper. I have a whole story about the pair I would love to publish someday :)

Live Painting 2.0
Did another live painting this past weekend with the very talented: Vibonics, Abstract Artform, and Tiffany Ponce for musical accompaniment
This show was much better than the last, we had 4 artists on projectors this time, and were a lot more involved with what the band was doing.
we are already making plans for another I've got high hopes this is going somewhere big...
